SAS Sweden Cancels Friday Flights Due to Strike Threat
Scandinavian airline SAS said on Thursday it was cancelling all flights by its Swedish unit on Friday due to a threatened strike by cabin crew.
Swedish union HTF has said it will bring 800 Sweden-based cabin staff out on strike from May 25 over pay and working conditions, such as eating and rest times.
SAS has responded by saying it would lock out the crews from May 28 if HTF carried out its threat.
SAS said in a statement it was continuing to negotiate with HTF and would decide on Saturday's flights on Friday.
