Second Chance: The "Last Chance" For Traders?

Well, like we said for the Million Dollar Challenge, today's trades will be big for the Second Chance Showdown players. But the players continue to outpace the Million Dollar contestants by over $500K in total portfolio value, though the $M finalists have narrowed the gap. Aric Fanzmeier's portfolio fell back below the $2M mark with a loss on ValueClick and Gamestop, but he managed to hold onto first place for the third day. Jacob Swanson moves into second with a $411K gain on Fremont General. Both Aric and Jacob have bet on earnings for Thursday.

Aric Fanzmeier stays in first place with a portfolio value of $1,994,687.59 down $102,300.00 or -4.88% from Tuesday's Total. He sold 20,000 shares of ValueClick Inc. down 6.77% Wednesday for a loss of $47K .He also sold 30,000 shares of Gamestop Corp. down 4.86% Wednesday for a loss of $55K. Aric is now all-in on Stein Mart reports before the bell Thursday.

Jacob Swanson moves into second place with a portfolio value of $1,952,441.00 up $411,444.33 or 26.70% from Tuesday's total. He sold 154,099 shares of Fremont General up 26.7% for a gain of $411K and a total gain of $846K since he purchased on 5/18. Jacob is now all-in Ansoft reported after the bell Wednesday.
