Jones Apparel Close to Selling Barneys: NYT

Jones Apparel Group is close to selling high-fashion chain Barneys New York to a Dubai government investment arm, The New York Times reported.

People familiar with the deal said the sale was worth $825 million, the report stated.

A deal is expected to be announced on Friday.
