Warren Buffett Watch

We now know who will be having lunch with Warren Buffett after submitting the winning $650,100 bid late Friday.
Mohnish Pabrai, a 43-year year old investor from Irvine, California, teamed up with a friend to win the eBay charity auction benefiting San Francisco's Glide Foundation.
Pabrai tells Reuters, "He has had a major influence on the way I've invested, and also on the way I give back." (Check out his Stockpickr portfolio and this 2004 Forbes profile.)
Pabrai identifies his co-bidder as a hedge-fund manager, Guy Spier, who put up about one-third of the bid.
I've just been told by CNBC's chief booker, Nick Dunn, that Pabrai is now scheduled to appear live on Squawk Box, tomorrow (Tuesday) morning at 8:40a ET. You can watch on TV, or check back here at Warren Buffett Watch afterwards for a video clip.
