The Fast Money MBA Challenge pits eight teams of business school students against each other in a multi-part challenge for the chance to become the Fast Money MBA Challenge Champions. The teams are comprised of four contestants and one or two alternates.
It is a single elimination tournament where the eight teams have been seeded according to their positioning within the 2007 U.S. News & World Report Top Business Schools ranking.
The tournament is played out in seven games within the four episodes. It is a traditional bracket format with a qualifying level of four games, a semifinal level of two games and a final level of one game with the winning team sharing a prize of $200,000 to be used for school expenses.
