Dear Jim: Boo-yah! I don’t know where I was able to muster up that “boo-yah” from – considering the last few days and the giant slide today. I could really, really use your help and guidance on Hoku Scientific . I think it was unfairly beaten down on the earnings release and the guidance. I heard the conference call. What do you think? Is this company really worth holding on to? – Prasann

Cramer says: “This is a very speculative stock…they claim to have some pretty good solar technology, but it’s too speculative for me now.”

Dear Jim: A big bouillabaisse-boo-yah from New England to you. Your "Mad Money" book is just great as a guide to understanding you and your program. I'd like to have your opinion on Genzyme from a fundamental point of view. I bought some shares on July 11 during the stochastic crossover, and yesterday the stock jumped significantly on good earnings and closed the gap at the high of $64.34. Should I sell here, hold or buy more? Your informed opinion will be greatly appreciated. --Sam

Dear Jim: In listening to the conference call today, Freeport-McMoRan indicated that they have such strong cash flows that along with paying down debt associated with the Phelps Dodge acquisition, they will be spending heavily on capital expenditures. Is this a bullish indicator for CAT and DE? --Brian

Cramer says:It’s bullish for Caterpillar ,” but it doesn’t impact Deere . “CAT is your best play.”

Jim's charitable trust owns Caterpillar and Freeport-McMoRan.
