Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway Reveals Holdings for Second Quarter

Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway has just revealed its portfolio holdings as of the end of the second quarter in a filing with the SEC.

This is a summary of the changes in its portfolio between the end of the first quarter on March 31 and the end of the second quarter on June 30.

Holds 2.5 million shares of Ameriprise Financial as of end of second quarter, down 41% from 4.3 million held at end of first quarter.

Sells entire H&R Block stake. Had held 1.2 million shares as of end of Q1.

Adds 8.7 million shares of Bank of America. Had no shares as of end of Q1.

Adds 4.4 million Burlington Northern shares. Had 34.6 million as of end of Q1.

Adds 2.8 million Dow Jones shares. Had no shares as of end of Q1.

Adds 4.5 million shares of Johnson & Johnson, increase of 9.2% from 48.7 million shares held as of end of Q1.

Nike stake doubles to 8 million shares vs 4 million shares at end of Q1 as a result of a 2-for-1 stock split on April 3. No real change in Buffett's position.

No stake reported in Norfolk Southern vs 6.4 million shares at end of Q1. Filing says information on Norfolk Southern holdings was withheld with the SEC's permission.

Adds 5.2 million Procter & Gamble shares, up 5.2% from 100 million at end of Q1.

Adds 2.7 million shares of Sanofi-Aventis, increase of 326% from 828,500 at end of Q1.

Drops 3.7 million Tyco shares, down 37% from 10 million shares as of end of Q1.

Adds 13.8 million shares of US Bancorp, up 59.1% from 23.3 million at end of Q1.

No stake reported in Union Pacific, vs from 10.5 million shares at end of Q1. Filing says information on Union Pacific holdings was withheld with the SEC's permission.

Adds 3.8 million shares of United Health Group, up 370% from 1.0 million shares at end of Q1.

Adds 25.4 million shares of Wells Fargo, up 10.9% from 232.2 million shares at end of Q1.

Adds 3.2 million shares of Wellpoint, up 329% from 979,700 shares at end of Q1.

Drops 6.7 million shares of Western Union, down 68% from 9.9 million shares at end of Q1.
