This was an unforgettable trip for all of us. When we arrived at the Microsoft campus in Washington, I expected a pretty typical array of buildings and offices. The campus was anything but typical…it was sprawling, and landscaped and I could feel the energy among the employees I spotted walking around the facility. What an impressive place to work! As we taped the interview with Mr. Gates I could feel that same energy. I was planted on the floor near the stage during the interview and at one point looked out into the audience of several hundred people. They all had a look of amazement on their faces. We all shared something pretty amazing that day…and I know that our trip to visit Mr. Gates is one that will never be forgotten.
