CNBC is expanding its presence in the Asia Pacific region by establishing a partnership with Digital Chosun, part of the Chosun group of companies, the biggest media conglomerate in South Korea. Digitial Chosun runs the largest online media platform in the country, chosun.com, and has recently launched "Business&", a new dedicated business and financial news channel in South Korea. The Chosun group of companies has a long standing tradition of journalistic integrity and excellence in South Korea. Its successful launch of "Business&" will contribute to media convergence, in synergy with other media platforms in the group, including print and online platforms, which are already considered market leaders in their respective categories.

CNBC will be working in partnership with both "Business&", the broadcasting network and the online media platform, chosun.com. Chosun and CNBC seek to build a long-term relationship centered on content distribution, brand growth, and a value-driven combination of resources. CNBC and Chosun will develop and distribute either party's programs on their respective television networks, CNBC and "Business&". There will be an exchange of editorial resources for all media platforms. They will offer integrated online distribution, where Chosun will use CNBC as its English-language provider of business news and information, and CNBC will link to the chosun.com portal in the Asia Pacific section on the global CNBC.com Web site.
