Education:
Gettysburg College, BA, 1957
Duke University School of Medicine, MD, 1961

Professional:
Paul has been a doctor for most of his career. He served as a Congressman in 1976 and 1979-1985. He lost a Senate bid in 1984 and resigned in 1985. In 1997, he won re-election.

Notable:

- Ran for President in 1988 as Libertarian Party candidate
