Satpal Brainch
President and Managing Director, CNBC International

Satpal Brainch is the President and Managing Director of CNBC International, responsible for managing CNBC's assets in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and the Asia Pacific region. He was appointed to this role in December 2011.

Brainch was previously the President and Managing Director of CNBC in Asia Pacific based in Singapore for two and a half years, moving to this position from his role as Vice President & CFO for CNBC based in the U.S (March 2007-June 2009).

Prior to joining CNBC, Brainch served as the Vice President Financial Planning and Analysis for the Television Group at NBC Universal from June 2006 – March 2007. He started his career at GE Finance in 1999 where he spent seven years in a number of different roles.

Brainch holds a bachelor's degree in finance and marketing from Emory University in Atlanta, GA. He is married with two children and currently splits his time between London and Singapore.

John Casey
Vice President, International News and Programming, CNBC International

John Casey heads News and Programming for CNBC in Asia Pacific and Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), based in London. In this capacity, Casey oversees CNBC's efforts to enhance the network's programming across these regions with additional responsibility for supporting all CNBC local language affiliates. His responsibilities include supervising the development of content, talent and program schedule for CNBC Asia Pacific & EMEA, ensuring the high quality of CNBC's daily output, and developing new, compelling content for CNBC's broadcast, mobile and broadband platforms.

Casey has more than a decade of experience in the production of business and financial news programs, and the management of news networks. He has 16 years of experience at CNBC in various roles in both London & Singapore. In his most recent role, Casey has led the News & Programming team in Asia over the last three years. He was responsible for leading CNBC Asia through a new programming revamp & the seamless integration of two new partnerships (SBS-CNBC in Korea, & CCTV2 in China).

Prior to this, Casey was also responsible for the successful relaunch of CNBC Asia Pacific's morning programming schedule at the beginning of 2007, where he created three new shows, Squawk Australia, CNBC's Cash Flow and Capital Connection (broadcast simultaneously in Europe and Asia). He also enhanced CNBC's signature programme, Squawk Box, and was instrumental in the revamp of the studio located in its Singapore Headquarters to better facilitate co-anchored shows.

He also spearheaded the development of the CNBC bureau in Sydney, Australia, where he created two new daily programs, Trading Matters and Australia This Week. In addition, he established an Australia-based news and programming team comprising two anchors and five programming personnel.

Casey was previously with CNBC Europe, based in London. He was the Deputy Head of News and the Executive Producer of Worldwide Exchange and Power Lunch. He developed the successful Worldwide Exchange format - the world's first global, tri-anchored, live newscast, broadcast simultaneously from Asia, Europe and the United States. He also developed CNBC Europe's rolling, volume-driven ticker, and the FTSE CNBC Global 300 Index. He helped set up CNBC Nordic, in Denmark, and CNBC in Turkey and he designed and built the CNBC Europe newsroom system.

Jacqueline Lam
VP, Marketing and Distribution, CNBC in Asia Pacific

Jacqueline Lam oversees Marketing and Distribution for CNBC in Asia Pacific, based in Singapore. She spearheads the expansion of the network's brand and distribution throughout the region. In this capacity, she is responsible for providing strategic direction to the marketing function and further building the CNBC brand with advertisers, partners and their core audience.

Lam joined CNBC in Asia Pacific six years ago as Manager of Affiliate Sales, then rose to Head of Network Distribution before being appointed to her most recent position. She has expanded the network across Asia Pacific and will continue to oversee CNBC's efforts to enhance distribution opportunities on all TV and digital platforms.

Prior to CNBC, she was the Manager of Regional Distribution and Marketing for MediaCorp News, Channel News Asia (International) where she was responsible for identifying and strategizing channel market entry in Asia, including selecting channel partners for channel redistribution, and negotiating license contracts with terrestrial broadcasters, pay TV operators and hotels. In her role, she was instrumental in securing carriage in 15 million households and hotels in the Asia Pacific region for the channel.

Before Channel News Asia (International), Lam was the Marketing Manager for J.D. Edwards, Asia Pacific Pte Ltd (now known as PeopleSoft). During her tenure there, she led events management, advertising, brand management and corporate communications division. Her efforts led to the roll out of Supply Chain Management and e-business applications through marketing campaigns in the region.

Lam is a graduate of Oklahoma City University, where she holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication, as well as a Diploma in Business Administration from the Singapore Polytechnic.

Michael Kearns
Head of News and Programming, CNBC in Asia Pacific

Michael Kearns is the Head of News and Programming for CNBC in Asia Pacific. In this capacity, Kearns manages CNBC's business day news and weekend programming, and establishes editorial priorities with programme leaders.

Kearns is an award-winning journalist with a track record of delivering innovative and compelling content.

Prior to joining CNBC, Kearns worked as the Executive Producer in charge of Business News at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation in Toronto. He also served as the founding Executive Producer for 'The Lang And O'Leary Exchange', Canada's most-watched business show. He held various roles over his 17-year tenure at CBC including 2 years in the Beijing bureau, where he produced coverage of live events, breaking news stories and documentaries.

Kearns holds both a Bachelor and a Master of Arts in Political Science, University of Toronto. He is married with 3 children.
