Stop Trading!: BE Aero Is a Buy

Tuesday, 30 Oct 2007 | 4:43 PM ET

Goodrich may be a "really, really good company," Cramer said today on Stop Trading!, but he thinks BE Aerospace is a better play for that sector.

Cramer's worry is that backlash from the grounding of an entire fleet of Dash 8 planes, for which a Goodrich subsidiary makes the landing gear, could lead to an analyst downgrade.

Mad Money host Jim Cramer discusses his favorite stock picks, including BEAV and CL, with CNBC's Erin Burnett

After a great quarter Tuesday morning, BE Aerospace "gives me all the aerospace exposure I need," Cramer said.

Procter & Gamble is complaining about a consumer slowdown, but Cramer blames the company's unhappiness on its lack of exposure to Latin America. "Latin America is the great story of this century so far," he said, especially as a middle class develops there. Unfortunately for P&G, those people are buying Colgate-Palmolive , and that's making the difference between the two stock prices.
