Warren Buffett to Host Second Hillary Clinton Fund-Raiser
![]() |
Charlie Neibergall / AP Democratic presidential hopeful, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-N.Y., stands on stage prior to speaking about her health care policy, Monday, Sept. 17, 2007, at Broadlawns Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. Warren Buffett will host a second fund-raiser for her next month in San Francisco. |
A spokesperson for the Clinton campaign tells me the second fund-raiser will be held at lunchtime on Tuesday, December 11 at the San Francisco Hilton. It's billed as a "lunch and conversation with Mr. Buffett and Mrs. Clinton." (The New York Sun reported on the upcoming event this morning.)
The Clinton campaign says tickets will range from $100 to $2300.
In August, Buffett also hosted a fund-raiser for Senator Barack Obama in Ohama. To date, he has not formally endorsed one over the other, saying either Clinton or Obama would do a great job in the White House.
