Also, iShares MSCI Taiwan Index (EWT) as well as iShares FTSE/Xinhua China 25 Index (FXI) have performed well, recently.
Should investors play EM as a safe haven?
Countries that have lower interest rates and higher growth can be attractive, says Tim Seymour. I’m talking about China, Russia, Malaysia Taiwan and Chile among others. All of them are currently outperforming. And, they are better insulated because they have strong domestic growth.
Personally, I like media stocks such as Net Servicos de Comunicacao (NETC), Central European Media Enterprises (CETV) and CTC Media (CTCM) because they are direct plays on these domestic economies.
Or you could look at China Mobile (CHL) with a stop out at $80 adds Guy Adami.
