Fast Messages - We Answer Your Questions

Time to sort though the Fast Money in-box and answer more of your questions.

Don

Don writes, “Is Office Depot [ODP  Loading...      ()   ] a good hedge in a down economy?

No, replies Jeff Macke. I don’t like the stock, I think it’s a value trap.”

And they have a lot of exposure to California and Florida, adds Karen Finerman.

Jackie from New York

Jackie writes, “American Express [AXP  Loading...      ()   ] took quite a beating today (Thursday). Do you go with the flow and sell?

Yes, go with the flow replies Guy Adami. I don’t like this stock and I suspect it’s  going lower, he adds.

Derek from Kentucky

Derek writes, “Why did Gamestop [GME  Loading...      ()   ] do poorly after it raised expectations and had a great holiday sales. I am confused.

I'm not sure why, replies Pete Najarian but I think this is a buying opportunity.

John from Colorado

You talked about Blue Nile [NILE  Loading...      ()   ] as a buy. What about Tiffany (TIF) and Zale (ZLC)?

I don’t like ZLC replies Jeff Macke, and I’m only lukewarm on TIF. I most prefer NILE, but as a high risk / high reward play.

Tony from Texas

Will Apple [AAPL  Loading...      ()   ] move next week for Macworld?

I think Apple will move next week replies Pete Najarian. But I can’t tell you what direction.
