Amid all the market volatility recently, some important buyers have been stepping up to the plate. How can you can profit from their moves?

On CNBC’s Closing Bell Pete Najarian recommended keeping a close eye on the following companies.

Citigroup [C  Loading...      ()   ]

Here’s why: I spotted inside buying over a week ago, says Najarian. 185,000 shares sold around $27. When the insiders start buying that could be a bottom.

E*Trade [ETFC  Loading...      ()   ]

Here’s why: Several directors bought up to $2 million in stock, Najarian explains. It gives me insight into where the stock is and whether they think it will go much lower.

Burlington Northern [BNI  Loading...      ()   ]

Here’s why: Buffett increased his position in BNI at just under $80 several times, says Najarian. It suggested to me the stock had considerable support at that level. (Remember, he adds, the rails move agriculture and coal and demand for these commodities remains very high.)
