Bullish on Genentech

"Genentech we think is a great growth company that’s been beaten down a bit because of some FDA concerns. Long-term, they’ve got a very focused product line and very high profit margins on the diseases they treat. We also think they’ve got a big pipeline going forward. So, I would say a long-term investment."

Eye on Asia

“We think Asia is going to continue strong in terms of currency as they unwind the Japanese Carry Trade, and as the Chinese try to slow their economy down a little bit. We’re pretty optimistic about the worldwide economy, even though the U.S. is the engine that leads this train and it’s going to lead it down into a slowdown, whether it’s a recession or not, I don’t know, and it will lead it back up coming out of it.”
