Time is running out for Nymex's (NMX) exclusive 30-day negotiating period with CME (CME). If they fail to reach agreement, are slumping exchange stocks as good as dead?

I’ve liked NMX in the past, but I don’t have the guts for this trade, says Karen Finerman.

I think the exchanges are great stories, says Guy Adami. Both the New York Stock Exchange (NYX) and the Nasdq (NDAQ) look cheap to me and I recommend buying.

I’m a seller, counters Jeff Macke. Typically these stocks do better in a bull market.
