Minor League Baseball Logo Contest--Day Seven Voting
Posted By:Darren Rovell
Topics:Sports

Ladies and gentlemen, I knew this would happen. We have a runoff. The late-charging Williamsport Crosscutters came from two percentage points behind with 28 minutes to go this morning to tie the Charleston RiverDogs--and knot the matchup at 50-50 as of 9 a.m. ET. So, we'll have a special edition runoff of those two teams tomorrow.

Other teams that advanced included the Clinton Lumberkings, who were far behind the Lake County Captains, but garnered some serious votes after their mascot Louie himself spoke up.

The Lehigh Valley IronPigs bested the Lakewood BlueClaws 52 to 48 percent in a matchup that drew more than 8,000 votes. The Toledo Mudhens blew away the Everett Aquasox, the Gary Southshore Rail Cats showed up the Chico Outlaws, while the Quad Cities River Bandits made up for an early morning deficit to win by 8 percentage points over the Greensboro Grasshoppers. And now, your Round Two voting. Remember, polls for the following are closed at 9 am EST Wednesday.

Tomorrow's Matchups: #1 Joliet Jackhammers vs. #9 Grand Prairie Airhogs, #5 Albuquerque Isotopers vs. #13 Peoria Chiefs, #11 Carolina Mudcats vs. #3 Southern Illinois Miners, #10 Anderson Joes vs. #2 West Tennessee Diamond Jaxx.

#16 Casper Ghosts vs. #9 Lansing Lugnuts

#12 Augusta GreenJackets vs. #4 Northwest Arkansas Naturals

#6 River City Rascals vs. #3 Aiken Foxhounds

#2 Columbus Catfish vs. #7 K.C. T.Bones
