Wendy and I didn't invent car magnets—we elevated them to a new level as "art for your car." People don't just drive their cars—they live in them—and they want their car styling to be as personal as their home décor. We both come from fashion industry backgrounds, and are inspired by great design. We envision a world where cars are an extension of your personal style; artful with hip designs that express individuality and are easy to change and rearrange. No matter what your personality; free spirited, creative, dare devil—sticars™ will express your inner artist on the open road!
We launched sticars™ this past May, and are already available in over 200 stores throughout the United States (including museum stores such as Mass MoCA, Museum of Contemporary Art - Chicago, Museum of Fine Arts - Boston, International Center of Photography NY), Canada, Japan, Sweden, the U.K., and soon to be in Australia. Customers can also purchase directly from our website, www.sticars.com.
Our “aha moment” came in a crowded parking lot when we realized that almost every car had some kind of magnet; from soccer balls to support the troops. We started to see cars as a blank canvas, and knew we had to create “art for your car.
We’ve been featured in trade shows in New York, Toronto, and Las Vegas (we were invited to the exclusive Pool Show of hot new designers), we've had articles in the Wall Street Journal, NY Daily News, Daily Candy, and numerous blogs around the world.
We are so appreciative to Donny and everyone at the Big Idea for creating such a wonderful segment. Our phone has been ringing off the hook since we were featured, and we’re hoping to be back on the show soon to discuss how Donny helped us make millions!
