Tiger Woods is looking to win big in business, developing resorts in the Bahamas and golf courses in Dubai. In an exclusive interview, the golf star shared his vision with CNBC’s Scott Wapner from the Tavistock Cup in Orlando, Florida. Here are excerpts of this web-only video.

Transforming Dubai

“I’ve been there since— I think 2001— I think it was my first year. And, there’s only two towers out there where we were playing in the golf tournament. And, now there’s a whole skyline. The amount of construction transpired over the few years that I’ve been there, it’s just hard to describe the people. The amount of people, the amount of interest, the amount of business driven through that region, has been phenomenal.”

Developing the Bahamas

"We just started construction. The marina’s going well. The golf courses are coming in. We’re going to have something for everybody, basically. It’s going to be absolutely incredible."

Being Successful

“You’ve got to put yourself in position. You’ve got to work hard; do all the things you need to do to get yourself there. Sometimes it goes your way, sometimes it doesn’t. Sometimes the guys outplay you; sometimes you outplay them. Sometimes you may get a lucky break that allows you to go on and win the tournament. Whatever it may be, the thing is you have to put yourself out there enough number of times to get the number of wins.”

Staying Motivated

“I don’t know half way. I don’t understand how people can live with themselves with not putting out their best. That’s not how I was raised. Both of my parents work extremely hard. You know, my dad being in Special Forces, my mom raising me… and if you meet my mom, you’ll see her personality is more driven than my dad. It’s been in me.”

Owning Google

“You know what? I’m going to keep holding it."
