Buy Into The Danger Zone?

From Turkey to Colombia, how can you find opportunities in areas of political unrest?

Hedge fund and private equity consultant John D’Agostino, author of “Rigged: The True Story of an Ivy League Kid Who Changed the World of Oil, from Wall Street to Dubai” joins the panel.

Turkey

The country has political turmoil and a lot of pressure on the economy, explains Tim Seymour. However, I think Turkcell [TKC  Loading...      ()   ] is a buy, he adds, as a play on growing consumer demand.

Latin America

I wouldn’t touch Venezuela or Bolivia with a 10-foot pole, says D’Agostino. However Columbia and Peru have been fantastic over the past 5 years. I just got back from Columbia, D’Agostino reveals, and I think it’s a safe place to do business.

I like Tenaris [TS  Loading...      ()   ] says Tim Seymour as a Latin America play. Also look at CEMIG  [CIG  Loading...      ()   ] as a Brazil play.
