Olympic Torch Will "Burn On"

2008 Olympics Beijing

So here's the highlights from San Francisco: The Olympic torch made its way through the streets. Almost no one saw it. And almost nothing happened.

That's what you'll see with the other cities when the IOC agrees to move on with the Worldwide Torch Relay.

Do whatever you have to do to get this thing to Beijing and to show the world that nothing can stop the Olympic flame.

Of course, it's all a bit weird when the whole idea of the torch relay is to show the thing off, but weird is much better than uncomfortable.

Just being there, it was amazing to see how much more support the pro-China group had versus the whole pro-Tibet/pro-Darfur group. From where I was standing it was at least a 20 to 1 advantage.
