Lightning Round: Yahoo, Petrobras, Ambac and More

Gilead : The next Genentech , Cramer said.

Bristol Meyers : Merck is better, Cramer said, thanks to its far superior pipeline.

Gannett : Print stocks are dead, as far as Cramer is concerned. While Gannett is a good company, there’s “no catalyst whatsoever” to get the stock moving.

Qwest Communications : Stick with the better yielding Verizon , Cramer said.

TXCO Resources : This natural gas play is OK, but Cramer would rather own the big names like XTO Energy , Apache and Chespeake .

Yahoo : There’s no reason to think it’s got more than a point or two of upside left, according to Cramer.

Macquarie Infrastructure : Sell, sell sell.

Petrobras : Cramer’s favorite Brazilian energy play is the similarly named Petroleo Brasileiro .

NVIDIA : Do not buy this, Cramer advised.

Brookfield : Again, not a buy. This company needs financing, Cramer said.

Ambac : This whole group of insurers are adamant sells, according to Cramer. He won’t recommend any.

Jim's charitable trust owns Verizon and XTO Energy.
