With investors watching their wallets and gas prices reaching record levels buying in bulk never seemed so appealing. Frequent car trips to the grocery store are becoming a thing of the past as shoppers load up at Costco [COST

Not interested in the warehouse stores. Some of the product makers are also going green.

]bought “Tom’s of Maine” toothpaste in an attempt to appear more eco-friendly. Even clothing retailers are getting in on the act. Hot Swedish fashion house H&M now uses organic cottons and biodegradable shopping bags.
