S&P 500 Breaks Through 1395 Resistance
The S&P 500 reached its highest levels since January and has crossed above a key resistance point. The key benchmark closed today just under 1398 and is now less than three points away from the 1400 mark.
In the past three months, the S&P has had runs at the 1395 high hit on February 1 but has not been able to break through. Today it has. The next milestone to look for is 1420 which was the close on January 10.
Leading the S&P were Tenet Healthcare , Fannie Mae and Perkin Elmer .
