Lightning Round: Verizon, Ford, Atlas and More

Tuesday, 29 Apr 2008 | 7:14 PM ET

Brown-Forman : “Very well-run distillery.” Cramer’s bullish on Brown Forman, but he likes Diageo . “That may be the better buy,” he said.

Schering-Plough : The stock’s been running, and Cramer doesn’t think it’s done. Buy more, he said.

Lightning Round
You say the name of a stock, and Mad Money's Jim Cramer tells you whether to buy or sell.

LSI Logic :Eaton or Parker Hannifin are better picks. LSI’s a sell.

LifeCell : “Take the money and run.” It’s time to take profits on LifeCell.

Ford : Go with the preferred stock and not the common, Cramer said.

Citizens Communication :AT&T and Verizon Communications are better phone plays.

Atlas Energy : “You hold on to that one. It’s going higher.”

Yamana Gold : Owning AUY has been “tough as nails,” Cramer said. But he believes every portfolio should have a gold stock, so he’s sticking with Yamana.

Jim’s charitable trust owns Schering-Plough, Verizon Communications and Yamana Gold.
