Peter Harris
President, Pedder Group




Peter Harris, who hails from Australia, seems to have gotten off on the right foot. He helped Hong Kong retail giant Lane Crawford-Joyce set up footwear and accessories chain, the Pedder Group. With revenues of US$130mn, Harris is now targeting China's well-heeled.

The 45-year-old executive tells CNBC's Christine Tan how he is positioning Pedder to be the gateway for international designer brands like Christian Louboutin and Jimmy Choo, into the Mainland.

Andrew Puzder got off the plane only a couple of hours before I sat down to talk to him. Still adjusting to the humidity of the Singapore climate, the CEO was in good spirits. Casually dressed for the interview, you would never have guessed he was a high powered corporate attorney. Puzder admits he never imagined he would end up in the fast food business.
