MILAN (Thomson Financial) - Alitalia SpA said it has cancelled 96 flights today because of a four-hour air traffic controllers strike in the Milan area from noon today.
The airline published the list of flights on its web site, while airline officials said the cancellations include flights across the area as well as those landing at Milan airports.
Separately, the Alitalia officials declined to comment on reports that some of its directors will resign next Tuesday at a board meeting scheduled to approve the first-quarter results.
