Volkswagen hikes recommended retail price for some German cars by 0.8 percent
FRANKFURT (Thomson Financial) - Volkswagen AG. said it is raising its recommended retail price for some car models in Germany by 0.8 percent, effective May 29.
The increase is below the average price increase in Germany, which stood at 2.4 percent in April, the company said in a statement.
The Golf, Golf Plus, Passat, Passat Variant and Phaeton models are excluded from the price hike.
