Wal-Mart
Wal-Mart was one of the few bright spots in retail last month. Figures released Thursday by the International Council of Shopping Centers show Wal-Mart's domestic retail sales posted a 3.6 percent year-over-year increase, the strongest numbers so far this year. The retail giant reports earnings Tuesday before the bell.
I expect profit margins will narrow but that’s probably already in the share prices, says Karen Finerman.
Hewlett Packard
Global PC shipments soared 14.6% in the first quarter despite slowing U.S. sales. Hewlett Packard reports earnings Thursday after the bell.
I expect to hear good things from Hewlett-Packard, says Guy Adami. I’m not sure what will happen short term but long-term I think HPQ is a buy.
I like Hewlett-Packard as well, says Pete Najarian.
