Mad Mail: Back in the Saddle with Garmin?
Dear Jim: Love your show...keep up the good work. With the projection of 20% of our energy being provided by wind, have you changed your opinion on American Superconductor Corporation ? Looks like they are the ones to hook up the wind farms to the utility grid. –Rick, Colorado
Cramer says: AMSC is not nearly as strong as I once thought. For wind, go with Tetra Tech as a speculative play, Trinity for the turbines, Owens Corning for the composite materials and Woodward Governor .
Booyah Jim!: Wow! Such excellence in broadcasting! Great shows this week. The interview with Mr. Toll was so real…And O-I , gotta love that thesis…And the fact that you deliver all this whilst looking oh-so distracting in that fabulous pink color is just off the hook. Also, on a different note, that UBS news Tues. AM regarding terrorist funding accusations is the final straw for them don't you think? I will be sooo glad when my son is finished with his internship there in a couple of weeks, --Lisa, Annapolis
Cramer says: UBS has a great asset management business that’s unfortunately obscured by its investment banking. Don't sell it.
Boo-Yah JC!: I was in my favorite running store last week and there was frenzy for this just-released GPS running watch called the Forerunner 405 by Garmin . This thing is slick and I watched the store's entire allocation get snapped up instantly (for $350 each). For runners, this release was bigger than "Iron Man." I know you were previously bearish on Garmin, but could this be a reason to buy? –Chris
Cramer says: Garmin is a big company and this is just a small part. I’m not ready to go positive yet.
