Stop Trading!: Time to Ring the Register

No one ever got hurt taking a little profit. That was the theme of Cramer’s Tuesday appearance on Stop Trading!, where he said Tuesday’s market sell-off seemed due.

Ring the register and take gains on some of the more parabolic movers, he said. Don’t worry -- you’ll be able to buy them back later.

The Mad Money host said he’d still be a buyer of many of the steel stocks, specifically Nucor [NUE  Loading...      ()   ] on its secondary offering. He also remains bullish on rails like Union Pacific [UNP  Loading...      ()   ] and CSX [CSX  Loading...      ()   ], although he’d still take some profits there “just as a prudence method.”
