 "It is my utmost pleasure to witness the launch of 2008 ABLA in Seoul co-hosted by Digital Chosun and CNBC Asia.
The global economy is truly struggling today with soaring crude oil prices, waning US dollar, and the worldwide ripple effects of credit crunch from sub-prime mortgage woes in the US. To overcome such period of turbulence and challenges, a leader who can stimulate growth and productivity is crucial at this point of time.
Nowadays, leaders who turnaround challenges to opportunities and champion more efficiently by investing in the workforce are not only seen in the business realm but in the political arena as well.
The significance of 2008 lies in its aims to award the professionals who have overcome the period of volatility and have successfully turned over the unfavorable circumstance to a platform leading to fruitful outcomes.
