Summer Stock Series: Bon Voyage

Could your family road trip lead to sizzling summer trades? Find out about the unlikely places in which the traders see opportunity!

Despite wallet-busting gasoline prices, summer vacations should only be down about 1% this year. However, when the kids ask “are we there yet?" You can answer yes!

Why? Because more than half of travelers say they plan to stick close to home. And that means theme parks are in while dream vacations to Hawaii or Italy are out.

So load the kids into the super sports wagon and relax. Next stop; Fast Money hot trades for the summertime.

I like Disney [DIS  Loading...      ()   ] and Wal-Mart [WMT  Loading...      ()   ], says Jeff Macke, for the obvious reasons.

My trade is Priceline.com [PCLN  Loading...      ()   ], adds Guy Adami, “but wait for a 5 million share volume day when it flushes to the downside.”

Or look at Marriott [MAR  Loading...      ()   ]. They’re attracting luxury consumers in Eastern Europe and parts of Asia, says Tim Seymour .

I think the cruise lines are a buy on dips, counsels Jon Najarian, because they're able to pass along fuel charnges. Also I like American Airlines [AMR  Loading...      ()   ] or United [UAUA  Loading...      ()   ] as trades.
