Online retailer Amazon.com Web Site was hit by a technical failure Friday, with users in various U.S. cities as well as London reporting trouble accessing the site.
Those who tried signing onto the popular portal saw a message saying "Service Unavailable," and the problem appeared to persist for over an hour. Representatives at Amazon did not return calls seeking comment.
