The way Bissinger went about berating Leitch on live television didn't do much to endear himself to the younger generation, who can't get enough of blogs and what now can constitute as journalism.
But I found out this afternoon that Bissinger, author of "Friday Night Lights," and Leitch do agree on something: The new book "A Few Seconds Of Panic" by Stefan Fatsis is a good book.
The book, which chronicles how the Wall Street Journal reporter trained as a kicker with the Denver Broncos, hits stores July 7.
On the back of the book's cover are six endorsements: one from Bissinger, one from Leitch and...one from Costas!
Bissinger says: "Just read the damn thing because it's a breeze and a joy."
Leitch says: "My heart raced every time the ball was snapped to the holder and Fatsis prepared to kick."
If there's a book launch party and Buzz and Will are making up, I'm there.
