Million Dollar Portfolio Challenge:  Trades of the Day

Contest Widely Helds and Actives:

  • National City [NCC  Loading...      ()   ] moved into the most widely held in the contest list, displacing RF Micro Devices (RFMD) and moving ahead of Advance Micro Devices (AMD)

  • AMR Corp [AMR  Loading...      ()   ] moved up two notches to become the 8th most widely held with nearly 280M shares held

  • The most widely held stock and the most active stock today remains Sirius [SIRI  Loading...      ()   ], with almost 1.95B shares held and 94.4M shares traded today as they wait for regulatory approval for their proposed merger

  • Financials took sole possession of most widely helds, at 30%, followed by Industrials at 25%
