Nike Golf spokesperson Beth Gast has told me that Tiger Woods will be wearing the same shirt design as he did yesterday for the 18-hole playoff today against Rocco Mediate.

The shirt, which will get another four hours of product placement, is a TW Dri-FIT Drop Needle shirt, whose exact color is "Carmine," that sells for $70.

Callaway [ELY  Loading...      ()   ] might not have its biggest endorser Phil Mickelson left, but it has plenty of signage on Mediate, who has the Callaway Golf logo on his hat, shirt sleeve and bag. The front page of the Callaway site has a message ("Good Luck, Rocco. We've got your back on Monday") accompanied with all the Callaway clubs that are in Mediate's bag.

Callaway could use the boost. It closed on Friday at $12.29, a 52-week low close.

Update: Perceptive reader Jeff Allen pointed out how interesting it is that the consumer version of Tiger's shirt doesn't have the "swoosh" on the left chest.
