Microsoft said on Wednesday it had purchased privately held digital television advertising technology company Navic Networks.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Navic will join Microsoft's [MSFT  Loading...      ()   ] Advertiser and Publisher Solutions (APS) Group, which is responsible for its digital media advertising platform, including television and video advertising.
