With gas prices through the roof a trip to the Maine or Cape Cod might be out of the question, but that doesn’t mean the family can’t enjoy seafood this summer. Just take the short ride over to one of Darden's many Red Lobster locations for a feast.

And if the excursion to South Carolina or even South Jersey is out of reach you can still enjoy some tastes of the south with McDonald's new southern style chicken sandwich.

Some investors are fearful gas prices may keep restaurant customers away this summer but Fast Money's Jeff Macke thinks you’ll decide the cheapest way to feel good is to indulge yourself in the neighborhood.

Here are his simple trades from the summer's simple pleasures.

My favorite trade tied to this phenomenon is McDonalds [MCD  Loading...      ()   ], says the Wolf. And I like Burger King [BKC  Loading...      ()   ]and Darden [DRI  Loading...      ()   ]too.

Or look at Wal-Mart [WMT  Loading...      ()   ], counsels Pete Najarian. They now sell a $3 bottle of wine!
