] has just crossed below $13 a share—a price level it has not seen since January 2, 1975, when it closed at $12.46. The last time it traded below $12 was December 30, 1974. It is down ~6% for the day. YTD, GM is down nearly 50%. This follows Friday's 6.8% drop. Its biggest one day drop was 14% in March. 2005.

GM is the worst performer of its key peer group. YTD Ford (F) and Toyota (TM) are down over 20% and 7% respectively while Honda (HMC) is up 2%.
