With Bunge slapping down $4.4 billion for Corn Products International how should you play the farming space, now?
I’ve never gotten tired of this sector and I still think it’s got some legs says Pete Najarian on CNBC’s “Closing Bell.” Every day last week it seemed like some analyst was raising their targets on either Monsanto , Mosaic , Agrium or Potash.
And those notes from the analysts weren’t just for ’08 and ’09, they were talking through 2014 so it just depends on your appetite for risk.
If you think those names feel too risky right now then I recommend looking down the chain at Deereand Caterpillar , Najarian counsels. I tend to lean toward Caterpillar because of their exposure to the mining sector, but I like both.
