That's less than half of last year's record $650,100 high bid, but as anyone who has been on eBay knows, savvy bidders hold back until the last few minutes. So far, nine bidders have made a total of 52 bids.
The auction ends at 10p ET tonight (Friday.)
Last year's winners, who collected their prize at New York's Smith & Wollensky Steakhouse on Wednesday, told us the experience was "worth every penny" of that $650K-plus.
The money goes to one of Buffett's favorite charities, the Glide Foundation, which helps San Francisco's poor and homeless.
In a live interview with CNBC this week before sitting down with last year's winners, Buffett called Glide a "marvelous, marvelous" organization run by a "remarkable man" named Cecil Williams who brings hope to "people the world has given up on."
