Happy Birthday Darren |
Nike turned the Rockefeller Center ice into a basketball court to announce the new jerseys they have for the USA Basketball team and I interview Bryant, Coach K and Nike Brand President Charlie Denson.
Right before we went on air Kobe and I played a little one-on-one. I've obviously sat in the first row before so I know the speed of these players, but when you're actually right in front of a guy like Kobe, the quickness is unbelievable.
I had a shot to score a point, which is all I wanted to do off him. After he missed a layup, I quickly brought to ball to the foul line and took it to the hole. Unfortunately, I heard footsteps and the ball rolled off the rim.
Below is the video interview with the three guys.
