NEW YORK - Shares of some top utilities companies are mixed at noon:
AEP rose $.38 or 1.3 percent, to $29.52.
ConEd fell $.28 or .7 percent, to $39.05.
Duke Energy rose $.06 or .4 percent, to $14.56.
Pepco Holdings rose $.18 or 1.0 percent, to $17.40.
Southern Co rose $.33 or .9 percent, to $35.85.
