NEW YORK - Shares of some top broadline retail companies were up at the close of trading:
BJ's Wholesale rose $1.54 or 4.4 percent, to $36.66.
Costco rose $1.32 or 2.6 percent, to $51.42.
Target rose $2.95 or 9.4 percent, to $34.48.
WalMart rose $.93 or 1.7 percent, to $54.38.
