NEW YORK - Shares of some top oil companies were up at the close of trading:
Chevron rose $3.52 or 4.9 percent, to $75.54.
ConocoPhillips rose $1.50 or 3.1 percent, to $49.52.
Exxon Mobil rose $3.30 or 4.4 percent, to $77.61.
Marathon Oil rose $.81 or 3.5 percent, to $24.02.
