NEW YORK - Shares of some top railroads companies were mixed at the close of trading:
Burlington Northern fell $1.54 or 2.1 percent, to $72.38.
CSX rose $.51 or 1.5 percent, to $34.54.
Canadian National rose $1.41 or 4.3 percent, to $34.27.
Canadian Pacific rose $.93 or 3.1 percent, to $30.48.
Kansas City Southern rose $.40 or 2.1 percent, to $19.41.
Norfolk Southern fell $1.26 or 2.6 percent, to $46.36.
Union Pacific rose $.80 or 1.7 percent, to $48.07.
