NEW YORK - Shares of some top coal companies are down at 10 a.m.:
Arch Coal fell $1.12 or 8.2 percent, to $12.62.
Consol Energy fell $2.36 or 8.7 percent, to $24.84.
Massey Energy fell $1.01 or 7.6 percent, to $12.20.
Peabody Energy fell $1.02 or 4.9 percent, to $19.69.
